Het Gare du Nord, in het 10e arrondissement, is de nummer 1 van Europa en de 3e drukste ter wereld wat bezoekersaantallen betreft. Met meer dan 220 miljoen passagiers per jaar bedient het het noorden van Frankrijk en internationale bestemmingen. Het werd ingehuldigd op 14 juni 1846 en heeft een moderne neoklassieke stijl, met een gevel versierd met drieëntwintig standbeelden van beroemde beeldhouwers. Het bestaat uit vier gebieden: de Eurostar Terminal, de Transversale Kade voor catering en niveaus -1 en -2 voor passagiers.
