Het avontuur van de Fontirou grotten begon 30 miljoen jaar geleden. In 7 zalen heeft de natuur concreties in allerlei vormen en kleuren gecreëerd, die u kunt ontdekken of herontdekken dankzij de nieuwe verlichting, die vrij uniek is in Frankrijk. Het terrein is uitgerust met een kleine snackbar (drankjes, koffie, ijs) en een souvenirwinkel. De picknickplaats ligt in de schaduw. U kunt zich ook met uw gezin vermaken op de midgetgolfbaan. De rondleiding duurt ongeveer 45 minuten. Vóór de rondleiding kunt u het kleine natuurhistorische museum met zijn dinosaurussen bezoeken.
