De Venus van Laussel is een van de vele zogenaamde Venusfigurines of -afbeeldingen. Het gaat in dit geval om een bas-reliëf van ongeveer een halve meter hoogte in verharde krijtrots. De figuur werd oorspronkelijk gekerfd in de rotswand van de abri waarin ze werd gevonden. Het toont een naakte vrouwenfiguur, oorspronkelijk met rode oker gekleurd. Zij dateert uit het Gravettien en is zo'n 20.000 jaar oud.
