Sandrine, oorspronkelijk uit Lotharingen, is een paar jaar geleden neergestreken op de vakantieroute langs de Atlantische kust in het centrum van het dorpje Chalus. Haar huis is een prachtig landhuis met een verwarmd zwembad (geopend van juni tot september) aan de weg van Limoges naar Périgueux. Als enthousiaste decorateur heeft ze drie gastenkamers uitgezocht en gerestaureerd, een met een rustige, romantische sfeer, een andere met een vintage uitstraling en de derde doet denken aan de Belle Époque. Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd in de eetkamer.
