Hij ontspringt bij de Moulin Picard en stroomt door het weiland, tussen de narcissen in het voorjaar en valt in een reeks door erosie uitgesleten kuilen.
Het is de eerste belangrijke zijrivier van de Combeauté. Onder de waterval steekt een schilderachtige boogbrug de stroom over.
Toegang via de D83 en vervolgens de Route du Breuil in de richting van de vijver van Villerain (Girmont-Val-d'Ajol)

Passage van wandelpaden, markering N°17 rode cirkel en N°20 door een groene cirkel (Wandelkaarten te koop in de kantoren van het toeristenbureau van Remiremont Plombières-les-Bains).
