Dit atelier-museum van de wevers en de Charentaise schoen, gevestigd in het Château de Varaignes, vertelt de geschiedenis van de plaatselijke textielindustrie, het leven van de wever/boer aan de hand van de reconstructie van een wevershuis uit het einde van de 19e en het begin van de 20e eeuw en de geschiedenis van de beroemde 'Charentaise' pantoffel.
