WEGENS WERKZAAMHEDEN GESLOTEN VOOR HET SEIZOEN 2026
Tussen "Feste" en "Vestinggroep" met een vleugje Maginotlinie, kom "Le Fort de Guentrange" bezoeken!
De rondleiding door het fort begint in de centrale kazerne. Hier bevinden zich de voorzieningen voor de bevoorrading van de soldaten. Deze omvatten de bakkerij, verwarming, keukens, elektriciteitsproductie, ventilatie en drinkwatervoorziening.
Vervolgens verkennen we een ondergrondse galerij om bij de noordelijke batterij te komen. We bezoeken het commandocentrum en een gerenoveerde geschutskoepel. Deze is uitgerust met een 10 cm kanon en munitie herlaadmachines.
Tot slot bezoeken we het museum. Het bevat collecties van 1870 tot 1945, waaronder die van de stad Thionville.
Rondleidingen met gids vertrekken slechts één keer vanuit het museum.
Binnentemperatuur 13° C. We raden je aan warme kleding en geschikt schoeisel mee te nemen.
