Het Gurp-strand bij Grayan-et-l'Hôpital is een lang zandstrand met een sterk ontwikkeld duingebied. Het heeft een historisch karakter met zijn vele blokhutten uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, een echte reis terug in de tijd. Dit strand is een surfplek, maar verwelkomt ook alle soorten publiek met de mogelijkheid om in alle veiligheid te zwemmen tussen de blauwe vlaggen!
Het Gurp-strand is gemakkelijk bereikbaar met de auto en de fiets. Direct verbonden met de Vélodyssée, loopt een spoor langs de route de l'Océan vanuit de stad Grayan. Ter plaatse ligt de parkeerplaats zeer dicht bij de toegang tot het strand.
Dieren zijn tijdens de zomerperiode niet toegestaan op het strand, zie de regels die bij de ingang van het strand zijn opgehangen.
