Deze opmerkelijke site ligt op een hoogte van 600 m, op de top van de bergpas Haut-Jacques (tussen Bruyères en Saint-Dié). Het arboretum bestaat uit een plantage van Nordmann-sparren die werd aangelegd in de nasleep van de Tweede Wereldoorlog. In de loop der decennia zijn er exotische Amerikaanse naaldbomen en een collectie loofbomen aan toegevoegd. Er is een botanisch wandelpad aangelegd, zodat bezoekers zowel de plaatselijke flora als de meer exotische soorten kunnen ontdekken.
