De molen van Tiquetorte ligt aan de oevers van de Jalle de Moulis in de Médoc. Deze oude watermolen heeft nog steeds zijn molensteen.
Tiquetorte is de vervorming van "Artiguetorte". Reeds in de 17de eeuw werd in de parochieregisters ofwel Tiquetorte ofwel Artiguetorte gebruikt om de molen te benoemen. Artigue in de langue d'oc is het equivalent van essart in de langue d'oïl om middeleeuwse open plekken aan te duiden en "torte" betekent gedraaid.
De molen is gebouwd op een gekanaliseerd deel van de Jalle, waarbij de oude bedding alleen zorgt voor de afvoer van de overloop. De molen zelf, evenals het onderste deel van het woonhuis, zijn ten laatste uit de 16e eeuw.
