Die Mühle von Tiquetorte liegt am Ufer des Flusses Jalle de Moulis im Médoc. Diese alte Wassermühle besitzt noch immer ihren Mühlstein.
Tiquetorte ist eine Abwandlung von "Artiguetorte". Bereits im 17. Jahrhundert wurde in den Kirchenbüchern unterschiedslos Tiquetorte oder Artiguetorte als Name für die Mühle verwendet. Artigue in der langue d'oc ist die Entsprechung von essart in der langue d'oïl, um die mittelalterlichen Rodungsgebiete zu bezeichnen, und "torte" bedeutet verdreht.
Die Mühle wurde auf einem kanalisierten Teil der Jalle errichtet, da das alte Flussbett nur noch den Überlauf abführt. Die Mühle selbst sowie der untere Teil des Wohnhauses stammen aus einer hohen Zeit, spätestens aus dem 16.
