De bouw loopt van de 15e eeuw (toren) tot de 20e eeuw (laatste werkzaamheden: verhoging van de toren met 4 meter in 1927-28), voortdurend uitgebreid en verfraaid. Bijna alle elementen van het koor zijn geklasseerd als historisch monument (houtwerk, zijaltaren, communiebank, verguld houten altaar, biechtstoelen uit de 18e eeuw). Binnen staat het 15e eeuwse beeld van "La Vierge du Mai", 1,84 m hoog, op de monumentenlijst; het is een van de drie belangrijkste maagden van de Vogezen. Als symbool van de parochie werd deze Maagd met Kind in 1956 aan de kerk teruggegeven.
