De architect uit Nancy, Jean Bourgon (1895-1959), een aanhanger van de Moderne Beweging, ontwierp het in 1952-54
De zeer eenvoudige plattegrond (narthex, schip, koor) wordt benadrukt door verschillende volumes. De grote klokkentoren, versierd met een heel groot wit kruis, staat boven de ingang. Het dak van het schip, in drie compartimenten, loopt geleidelijk op naar het parallellepipedakoor. De laatste heeft vier traveeën aan elke zijwand en is beter verlicht dan het middenschip, waarvan de breder geplaatste ramen binnenin verborgen zijn door betonnen schermen.
