Het strand van Maubuisson, gelegen in het centrum van de stad en bereikbaar per fiets, is het belangrijkste strand van het Lac de Carcans. In de zomer is het ideaal voor kinderen en ook voor vriendengroepen die zich in het water willen vermaken. U hoeft zich hier geen moment te vervelen: er zijn tal van watersportactiviteiten mogelijk: varen, peddelen, zeilen, waterfietsen..

Dieren zijn tijdens de zomermaanden niet toegestaan op het strand, zie het reglement dat bij de ingang van het strand is opgehangen.
