De Smakerij is een uniek concept, gevestigd in het voormalig douanekantoor, aan de voet van het natuurgebied "Het Vijverbroek". Hier gaan wandelen, fietsen, het zomerterras en overheerlijk eten vlekkeloos in elkaar op. Je wordt hartelijk ontvangen door de familie. Heerlijke gerechten (kleine & grote kaart) worden bereid door de patron zelf. Verse visgerechten zijn de specialiteit van het huis. Van hieruit vertrekken verschillende wandelroutes van Rivierpark Maasvallei. De Smakerij heeft ook haar eigen wandelroutes en maakt desgewenst ook routes op maat, evt gecombineerd met eten.
