Het dorpje Piney ligt achter het meer en biedt alle diensten die camperaars nodig hebben (bakker, slager, bank, enz.)
Het servicestation (olie verversen, water, elektriciteit) bevindt zich op het oude stationsplein, Place des Anciens Combattants. Het is het hele jaar door geopend. Een kleine parkeerplaats biedt plaats aan ongeveer 5 campers.
Munten (2,50 ? wat overeenkomt met 100 liter water en 1 uur elektriciteit) zijn te koop bij :
- Gemeentehuis van Piney (openingstijden: maandag, woensdag en vrijdag van 9.00 tot 12.00 uur en van 14.00 tot 17.00 uur + zaterdag van 9.00 tot 12.00 uur) op 500 meter van het stadscentrum
- Boulangerie Trunzler (stadscentrum)
- Restaurant "Au Champenois" (centrum)
