L'Amiral ligt in het hart van Les Halles en is een van de bezienswaardigheden van Biarritz. Deze historische bar dateert uit de jaren 1930 en is onder de nieuwe eigenaars Sophie en Laurent een authentieke en prachtige brasserie geworden. Naast een prachtig decor dat het cachet van weleer verraadt, biedt dit restaurantpaar authentieke marktkeuken met seizoensgebonden en lokale producten.
Elke dag verandert het menu afhankelijk van de beschikbare producten en de inspiratie van de chef. Terwijl de lunchspecials zeker een bezoek waard zijn, zijn de tapas 's avonds ook niet slecht en gaan ze perfect samen met de selectie cocktails, samengesteld door een mixoloog met vers fruit van het moment. Wat betreft het warme welkom, het is net alsof je thuis bent, maar dan beter! De vaste gasten van L'Amiral komen graag en in steeds grotere getale terug.
