Grenzend aan de Boulevard des Pyrénées, zijn het Georges V plein en de Boulevard d'Aragon een belangrijke creatie van de jaren 1920-1930, die de emblematische promenade verbindt met het nieuwe hart van de stad, de Place Clemenceau. Rechts het Palais d'Aragon. Links geeft het Ossau paleis met zijn oceaanstomerstijl een unieke sfeer aan Square George V. Iets verderop staat het gebouw op nr. 14 op een prominente plek aan de boulevard. Bekend als het "Maison blanche" of "Immeuble aux colonnes" bij de inwoners van Pau, werd het in de jaren 1930 ontworpen door Henry Challe. De moderniteit is niet gespeend van het classicisme dat de Art Deco stijl van Pau kenmerkt en het fronton, gebeeldhouwd door Vérez, stelt een koppel voor dat een fontein van de jeugd omlijst.
