Domaine Lapèze werd in 1803 gebouwd van witte Quercy-steen, typisch voor de streek. Het was ooit een wijnboerderij en vandaag de dag maken de grotten en oude wijngaarden deel uit van het erfgoed.
Het ligt in de heuvels net buiten het centrum van het dorp Montcuq, met een adembenemend uitzicht over de vallei van Montcuq tot Lauzerte. Het landgoed wordt omringd door 5 hectare lavendel-, oleander- en rozemarijntuinen.
Het centrum van Montcuq ligt vlakbij, waardoor het heel handig is om te lopen van en naar cafés en restaurants voor lunch of diner.
