Tussen Châtellerault en Poitiers biedt Lac de Saint-Cyr, een natuursportoord, een uitgestrekt natuurgebied met een veelheid aan sport-, natuur- en ontspanningsactiviteiten. In de zomer zul je dol zijn op het meer met zijn strand met blauwe vlag, zwemmen onder toezicht, kanoën, kajakken, waterfietsen, de Aquazone en waterglijbanen. Er is ook een zeilcentrum waar je kunt paddleboarden, windsurfen en catamaranzeilen.
Met familie of vrienden, picknickplaatsen, kinderspeeltuinen, beachvolleybal, jeu de boules en multisportterreinen, visgebieden (alleen kunstaasvissen) en het Regionale Natuurreservaat zullen iedereen zeker bevallen. Neem een pauze in bar-restaurant Bistro de la Plage aan het meer.
