Saint-Palais ligt op het kruispunt van verschillende pelgrimsroutes: de route Vézelay (GR 654) loopt voor het huis langs, de route Tours sluit vanuit Garris aan op Saint-Palais en deze twee routes komen samen bij de stèle van Gibraltar, waar u de route van Puy (GR 65) richting Ostabat vindt. U heeft gemakkelijk toegang tot winkels, restaurants, gezondheidsdiensten en een bioscoop
