De inspanningen van het gemeentebestuur van Sainte-Alvère om "het goede" en "het mooie" te promoten hebben eindelijk vruchten afgeworpen.
Op het gebied van lokale producten heeft de truffelmarkt zijn sporen verdiend en de aardbeien- en foie grasproducenten en koffiebranders in het dorp bieden regelmatig kwaliteitsproducten aan.
Wat betreft de levenskwaliteit, naast de inspanningen om de essentiële lokale diensten te behouden, is de zorg die besteed wordt aan de algemene esthetiek van het dorp onbetwistbaar.
Dit kosmopolitische dorp is nu de thuisbasis van veel Franse en buitenlandse kunstenaars, en er is een nieuwe kleine kunstgalerie geopend op Place du Château.
