De rue Jean Burguet ligt op een steenworp afstand van het stadscentrum, de winkels en het vervoer (bus en tram) en maakt deel uit van de zaken- en juridische wijk Mériadeck en Pey-Berland. In de buurt kunt u het zwembad Judaïque en zijn Art Deco stijl bewonderen, of naar de Place Gambetta gaan. U bevindt zich nu in de "Gouden Driehoek" van Bordeaux, gevormd door de Cours Clémenceau, de Cours de l'Intendance en de Allées de Tourny.
