De Baleine aardewerkfabriek in Laàs is een nogal atypische plek. Hervé Billard heeft er zijn atelier met al zijn creaties, maar buiten staat een vreemd exemplaar: de houtgestookte oven, of anagama-oven (Japanse school), die vreemd genoeg aan een walvis doet denken. Hervé Billard zal u met passie zijn werk als pottenbakker van steengoed uitleggen en het uitzonderlijke gebruik van deze ondergrondse oven om stukken van grote finesse te produceren, soms zelfs origineel (walvissen). Al deze glazuren zijn loodvrij (vaatwasmachine- en magnetronbestendig). Er zijn ook cursussen voor kinderen en volwassenen.
