Dit washuis werd gebouwd in 1858 en heeft een zeldzaam kenmerk: het werd gevoed met warm water uit de thermale baden. De wasvrouwen die er hun kleren wasten genoten van uitzonderlijk comfort voor die tijd en waren zeker jaloers op de plaatselijke bewoners. Een unieke getuigenis van de vindingrijkheid en het belang van thermale baden in het dagelijkse leven van vroeger.
