Het opleidingscentrum LAINAMAC is gespecialiseerd in wol- en textielvaardigheden. Het biedt trainingen in mode, design en interieurdecoratie voor schapen- en geitenhouders, ontwerpers, decorateurs, kunstenaars en textielambachtslieden of projectleiders. Het hele jaar door worden er professionele cursussen en inleidende workshops aangeboden over de volgende thema's:
Kennis van wol en voorbereiding van het materiaal - Vilt - Natuurlijk verven en bedrukken - Spinnen - Weven - Meubelen - Breien
Het centrum wil een plaats zijn voor onderwijs, ontmoetingen en onderzoek op het gebied van wol, om dit edele materiaal meer bekendheid te geven en de vaardigheden die ermee verbonden zijn door te geven.
