Hier wordt hout omgezet in muzieknoten. Balkan esdoorn, sparrenhout uit de Jura of Dolomieten, gecertificeerd ebbenhout, enz. hebben elk hun eigen unieke klank. In het hart van haar werkplaats in Veymerange bewerkt Romane Conroux ze met de hand, behendig en geduldig. Luthierie is een gepassioneerd beroep waarbij je de uren niet telt. Het begint allemaal met een mal, dan wordt een kromming gevormd, de handen schuren en monteren de onderdelen, de eerste snaar wordt vastgemaakt en hier is een viool die geleidelijk vorm krijgt voor onze verbaasde ogen. Er wordt een ware artistieke dans uitgevoerd om het instrument tot leven te wekken.
