In ihrem Atelier in Veymerange bearbeitet Romane Conroux sie von Hand mit Geschick und Geduld. Geigenbau ist ein Beruf voller Leidenschaft, in dem man seine Stunden nicht zählt. Alles beginnt mit einer Form, dann bildet sich eine Kurve, die Hände schleifen und fügen die Elemente zusammen, eine erste Saite wird befestigt und schon nimmt eine Geige vor unseren staunenden Augen nach und nach Gestalt an. Es ist ein wahrer künstlerischer Tanz, der geübt wird, um das Instrument zum Leben zu erwecken.
