De architectuur is geïnspireerd op de romaans-byzantijnse basilieken en werd eind 19e eeuw gebouwd op de plaats van de romaanse kerk op de pech (of piek). De koepel, die doet denken aan de Sacré C?ur in Montmartre, werd geïnstalleerd in 1935-1936. De glas-in-loodramen, gemaakt in de vorm van rozetten, verbeelden het leven van Sint Maarten, de Maagd Maria, Sint Jozef, etc. Eén ervan stelt een molen voor. Een prachtig uitzichtpunt laat u de vallei ontdekken.
