Félix Charpentier, een kunstenaar en beeldhouwer van Provençaalse afkomst, bouwde deze Villa in 1897 in het geboortedorp van zijn vrouw Léa, die tevens zijn model was, als hun buitenverblijf. Het huis is nog steeds eigendom van de vierde generatie afstammelingen van de kunstenaar. Het huis bevat niet alleen de ateliercollectie van de beeldhouwer, die hier na de dood van Lea in 1935 en de verkoop van het Parijse atelier in de rue de Ridder werd samengebracht, maar ook talrijke kunstwerken, schilderijen, meubels en souvenirs uit die periode. U zult gecharmeerd zijn door de sfeer van de plaats, die zijn authenticiteit en de "Belle Epoque" sfeer heeft behouden. Bezoeken aan het atelier en het huis worden begeleid en de toegang tot het park van twee hectare is gratis.
