Dit museum nodigt u uit even terug naar het begin twintigste eeuw en de sfeer van een plattelandsschooltje uit die tijd op te roepen. Het huis van de onderwijzer en het klaslokaal, een reconstructie van 1900, roep herinneringen op van paarse inkt en zwarte schorten. Hier wordt verteld over het leven van Ernest Pérochon, de winnaar van de Goncourt-prijs in 1920 voor zijn boek 'Nêne' en beroemde scholier van 'la Tour Nivelle'. Rondleiding met animatie door het klaslokaal: in ouderwets schooluniform, schrijven met een ganzenveer onder leiding van de 'meester',... Spelletje en een quiz voor kinderen om het bezoek ludiek te maken. Het hele jaar verschillende animaties: tijdelijke tentoonstellingen, lezingen, lagere school-diploma's, animaties en culturele exposities. Mogelijkheid (na reservering) voor groepen om een hapje te eten in 1900-stijl.
