In Gousse en Chalosse, in het zuiden van de Landes, biedt Elisabeth u een gîte aan. Op minder dan 2 minuten afstand ontdekt u via een pad de rivier de Adour. De route is bewegwijzerd, met informatieborden en beschreven op fiches die verkrijgbaar zijn bij het VVV-kantoor in Montfort-en-Chalosse. U komt door Préchacq en ontdekt de overblijfselen van de eerste thermale baden genaamd "Trou de madame" en de huidige thermale baden waar reuma en ademhalingsproblemen worden behandeld. Andere bewegwijzerde rondleidingen zijn verkrijgbaar bij het VVV-kantoor. U kunt de regio ook per auto verkennen.
Deze gemeubileerde flat bevindt zich op de begane grond. De eigenaars wonen boven. Ze laten je rondlopen in hun bloemrijke tuin. Het terrein is niet omheind, maar hun huis is het laatste in een doodlopende straat, wat meer rust biedt.
