De espadrilles van Don Quichosse zijn unieke stukken die met de hand zijn genaaid in de stad Mauléon-Licharre, in het hart van Baskenland.
Deze stad staat al sinds de 18e eeuw bekend om de productie van handgemaakte espadrilles. De kwaliteit van het vakmanschap is zo goed dat het bedrijf het label "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (EPV) heeft gekregen. Hun werkplaats is een levendige plek waar passie en expertise worden gedeeld, in het hart van een omgeving waar eeuwenoude machines getuigen van de geschiedenis van het bedrijf. Als fabriekswinkel is het atelier ook een museum waar je de tijdloze kwaliteit van de producten van Don Quichosse kunt ontdekken en waarderen, waaronder de 425, een met de hand genaaide espadrille. Hoewel de winkel het hele jaar door geopend is, kun je van mei tot september een rondleiding door het atelier krijgen voor een nog intensere ervaring.
