Bellême, de voormalige hoofdstad van de provincie Perche, heeft een rijk architecturaal erfgoed, gevarieerde en aantrekkelijke winkels en een bijzondere "geest" die het onderscheidt van andere steden in de regio Perche. De straat "Ville Close", die toegankelijk is via een imposant middeleeuws portaal, wordt omzoomd door herenhuizen met adellijke gevels. De elegantie en de sfeer van de winkels charmeren de bezoekers.
