Chasse Spleen... Deze magische naam is waarschijnlijk het resultaat van discussies rond 1860 tussen Rosa Ferriere, de vrouw des huizes, en haar buurman, Odilon Redon, een beroemde symbolistische schilder die Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal illustreerde
Van april tot oktober biedt Château Chasse-Spleen, een beroemd wijndomein in de appellation Moulis, in het hart van de Médoc, een wijnbar voor liefhebbers van wijn, kunst en tuin
De voorstellen zijn bewust locavore
Voor de wijnen wordt het gemakkelijk: Château Chasse-Spleen, Héritage de Chasse-Spleen, Château Gressier Grand Poujeaux
De aangeboden hapjes komen uit een straal van niet meer dan 200 kilometer (Landes, Charentes en Pyreneeën): magret gravelax, ham uit de Aldudes, schapenmelk uit Baskenland en huisgemaakte foie gras.
