Description

Het Musée du Bois, een houtzagerij op het water, presenteert een mooie collectie oude gereedschappen en machines die gebruikt werden in de hout- en bosbouw. Het hoogtepunt van de tentoonstelling is de "Haut-Fer", een verticale zaag in perfecte staat. Hydraulische kracht drijft een schoepenrad met een diameter van 4,20 m aan, dat de "Haut-Fer" aandrijft. Rondleidingen worden gegeven met commentaar en geïllustreerde demonstraties door deskundige gidsen.
