Het kleine dorpje Aubertin ligt ten westen van Pau, 15 km de heuvels in.
Het uitzicht is prachtig over de wijngaardhellingen en de Pyreneeën. De bochtige weg, de "route des Pyrénées" genoemd, biedt een lange wandeling met onderweg uitzicht op de bergen. Het is hier, onder de bomen van een klein bos, dat u de picknicktafels vindt, op de kruising van deze weg met een "pépic" pad. De omgeving is aangenaam en rustig.
