Andaye, de stad van de herinneringen, is een bezienswaardigheid in het centrum van Hendaye.
Het nodigt het publiek uit om de geschiedenis van Hendaye, en meer in het algemeen van Baskenland, op een leuke en interactieve manier te ontdekken.
9 zalen nemen de bezoekers mee op een reis van hekserij tot de 16e eeuw, via neobaskische architectuur, smokkel, de grote conflicten van de 20e eeuw, gastronomie en natuurlijk de grens en douane.
De aangeboden collecties bevatten kopieën van belangrijke werken, waaronder Goya, uit Versailles, het Grand Palais in Parijs en musea in Madrid en Londen, om er maar een paar te noemen.
Om de ervaring compleet te maken is er ook een ontsnappingsspel gewijd aan Etienne Pellot, de laatste Franse kaper en een inwoner van Henday.
De site krijgt de labels Toerisme & Handicap en Famille Plus.
