Van de zeer oude kerk uit de 12e eeuw is alleen de klokkentoren met de veelhoekige, met leien bedekte spits overgebleven. Het middenschip en de twee kleinere zijbeuken werden in 1872 herbouwd.
Het beschilderde en vergulde houten altaar uit de 17e eeuw is een echt wonder om te zien. De gevel, versierd met een duif van de Heilige Geest op een zon en wolken, is opmerkelijk. Vergeet niet de Ark van het Verbond op de deur van de tabernakel te waarderen. Deze kerk heeft ook een sublieme Maagd met Kind uit de 16e eeuw.
