Deze molen heeft nog steeds zijn dak en wieken. De hoge ronde toren, met zorg gebouwd, draagt het gewicht van het geraamte en het mechanisme. Een deur geeft toegang tot de benedenverdieping, waar de woning van de molenaar is. Tot het begin van de 19e eeuw was malen een belangrijke activiteit in de regio. De productie was bedoeld om Bordeaux en de koloniën te bevoorraden, dus werden molens vaak dicht bij havens gebouwd. De molens hadden draaiende daken zodat hun wieken in de wind konden staan. Aan het eind van de 19e eeuw stonden er 150 windmolens in de Médoc.
