Oude Sodbury is een klein dorp in de vallei van de rivier de Frome, net onder en ten westen van de Cotswold-klif en ten oosten van Chipping Sodbury en Yate in South Gloucestershire, Engeland. Het is gelegen in de Hundred van Grumbald's Ash. Het dorp strekt zich uit van Chipping Sodbury in het westen tot de Cotswold-rand in het oosten en ligt aan de Cotswold Way. De Badminton Road kronkelt oostwaarts naar Badminton, Gloucestershire door het dorp, tot aan het kruispunt Cross Hands met de A46, die langs de top van de Cotswold-klif van Bath naar Stroud loopt.
