Tenby is een ommuurde stad aan de zee in het Welshe graafschap Pembrokeshire aan de Baai van Carmarthen. Tenby telt 4933 inwoners.
Tenby is populair vanwege de zandstranden van 4 km ; de stadsmuren uit de 13e eeuw, met de volledig in stand gehouden 5 bogen toren poorthuis ; De St. Maria kerk uit de 15e eeuw; Het Tudor-koopmanshuis wat op de Britse monumentenlijst staat ; Een museum met kunstgalerij; Het Pembrokeshire kustpad, wat een deel is van het enige Britse nationale beschermd natuurgebied aan de kust. Vanaf de haven van Tenby kunnen er boottochten gemaakt worden naar het nabijgelegen kloosterachtig eiland Caldey. Het St. Catharina eiland is gekoppeld aan de stad en is alleen bereikbaar met eb. Tenby heeft ook een treinstation en in de stad staat een authentieke hoge stenen brug.
