Llanidloes is een stad en gemeenschap aan de wegen A470 en B4518 in Powys, binnen de historische grens van Montgomeryshire, Wales. De bevolking in 2011 was 2.929, van wie 15% Welsh kon spreken. Het is de derde grootste nederzetting in Montgomeryshire, na Newtown en Welshpool.
Het is de eerste stad aan de rivier de Severn, tellend vanaf de bron. De parlementariër van de stad is de conservatieve Craig Williams en het lid van de Senedd is de conservatieve Russell George.
