Moreton is een civil parish in het bestuurlijke gebied Epping Forest, in het Engelse graafschap Essex met 321 inwoners.
De plaats bevindt zich op de plek waar een Romeinse weg die Great Dunmow verbond met Londen kruisde met de Cripsey Brook. Vandaag de dag is de brug die de Cripsey overspant nog steeds een bezienswaardigheid. De brug stamt nog van voor de motorisering van het vervoer, en heeft mede dankzij het gebrek aan gewichtsmaxima te lijden gehad onder het overtrekkende vervoer.
