Winterbourne Down is een dorp in South Gloucestershire, Engeland, gelegen aan de noordoostelijke rand van Bristol. Het maakt ook deel uit van de burgerlijke parochie van Winterbourne. Het wordt in het zuiden afgebakend door de Avon Ring Road. Het jaarlijkse Mei-dag carnaval van de parochie vindt hier plaats.
De Frome Valley Walkway loopt door het dorp en biedt uitzicht op het Huckford Viaduct. Het dorp bevat de Anglicaanse All Saints Kerk en de Methodistische Bethesda kapel. Winterbourne Down staat ook bekend om zijn uitgestrekte bossen, de erfgoed van de steengroeve en de overblijfselen van een Romeins kamp.
