Llanfachraeth is een dorp en gemeenschap in het Welshe graafschap Anglesey. Het ligt in de buurt van de westkust van het eiland, aan de monding van de Alaw, 10 kilometer ten oosten van Holyhead, 18 kilometer ten zuidwesten van Amlwch en 18 kilometer ten noordwesten van Llangefni. De A5025-weg loopt door het dorp. Een busdienst rijdt dagelijks langs deze weg, behalve op zondagen, en verbindt Cemaes, Llanfaethlu, Llanfachraeth en Holyhead. Het Wales Coast Path wordt hier landinwaarts gedwongen om de Afon Alaw over te steken. Het dorp heeft een pub en accommodatie wordt aangeboden door het Holland Hotel.
