Wimblington is een dorp in het Isle of Ely, Cambridgeshire, Engeland, met een bevolking van 1700 volgens de volkstelling van 2001, inclusief Stonea, en toenemend tot 2.211 bij de volkstelling van 2011.
De plaatsnaam 'Wimblington' wordt voor het eerst vermeld in een document van circa 975, waar het verschijnt als Wimblingetune. De naam betekent 'de stad of nederzetting van de mensen van Winebald'.
