Capel Curig is een dorp en een gemeenschap in Conwy, Wales. Het ligt in het hart van Snowdonia, aan de rivier Llugwy. Het heeft ongeveer 230 inwoners.
Capel Curig ligt op de kruising van de A5 met de A4086 van Caernarfon, Llanberis, Pen-y-Pass en Pen-y-Gwryd. Het landschap wordt bepaald door de pittoreske Ogwen-vallei en de meren van Llynnau-Mymbyr. Enkele van de omliggende bergen stijgen tot ongeveer 900 m, zoals de Moel Siabod ten zuiden van het dorp, waarvan de top een langgerekte rand vormt.
Capel Curig wordt beschouwd als de natste plaats van de Britse eilanden, ook al ligt het weerstation in Dyffryn Mymbyr, enkele mijlen in de richting van de Crib Goch.
