Chirk is een stad en gemeenschap in Wrexham County Borough, Wales, 10 mijl ten zuiden van Wrexham, tussen Wrexham en Oswestry. Bij de volkstelling van 2011 had het een bevolking van 4.468. Historisch gezien behoort het tot het traditionele graafschap Denbighshire, en later Clwyd, en het maakt sinds een herstructurering van de lokale overheid in 1996 deel uit van Wrexham County Borough. De grens met het Engelse graafschap Shropshire ligt onmiddellijk ten zuiden van de stad, aan de andere kant van de rivier de Ceiriog.
