Een van de oudste bossen van Noord-Ierland, Tardree, is een opvallend kenmerk op de M2 tussen Antrim en Templepatrick.
Het bos herbergt een gezonde bevolking van wilde dieren met tal van vogelsoorten aanwezig. Het bos biedt ook een
plaats van ontspanning en recreatie voor veel bezoekers, met panoramische uitzichten over County Antrim en Lough Neagh. In Parkgate linksaf de Connor Road op. Na 5 km rechtsaf, het borden naar het bos volgend.
